The third National Aequitas Health Conference brought together fellows, faculty advisors, and distinguished speakers for fellow presentations, competitive grants, and keynote addresses from leaders in academic medicine and healthcare.

The 2025–26 conference expanded on the growing library model, preserving all presentations from all years in a permanent, accessible library. The conference remains free, virtual, and asynchronous—ensuring every fellow can participate regardless of geography, schedule, or institutional resources.

Conference Highlights

Fellows presented original community health projects spanning topics from free clinic operations and medication adherence to vision access initiatives and medical education outreach. Distinguished speakers addressed unconventional pathways in healthcare, health system innovation, and the intersection of policy and clinical practice.

Grant Awards

$1,500 in competitive grants were awarded across three categories: Fellow Project Grant ($500), Chapter Project Grant ($500), and Chapter Project of the Year Award ($500). The Chapter Project of the Year—a new category introduced in 2025–26—recognizes the most impactful chapter initiative of the year.
