The first National Aequitas Health Conference launched as a virtual, asynchronous platform for fellow presentations and distinguished speaker sessions, establishing a model designed to compound credibility over time.

Fellows from across the network presented original research and community health projects—from free clinics and vision access initiatives to environmental health advocacy and community health literacy courses.

The conference was designed from the start as a permanent, growing library. Rather than deleting last year’s content and starting over, each year’s presentations are preserved alongside new ones—building a library of health equity scholarship that grows more substantial each year.

The conference is free, virtual, and on each fellow’s schedule—health equity in practice. A student at a small rural school has the same access as a student at a top-20 program.
